I LOVE INDIE MUSIC!!
Blur’s ‘Parklife’ was one of the first audio recordings I ever bought (with my own money – My Mum did buy me Pato Banton’s ‘Baby Come Back’, but I try to keep that secret). What I love about the term ‘Indie’ is that it came from the word ‘independent’ and for me conjures up images of working class heroes spending their hard earned cash in an affordable recording studio, making some of music’s most iconic and seminal albums.

Here at That Little Studio, I’m inspired by my time in a rock band, but I also want the audio recording experience to be, frankly, as awesome as possible. So yes, we have a great selection of mics (Rode, Telefunken, AKG, Shure, Royer, Audix…) and some great in house instruments (The Fender Rhodes and Roland Juno 60, for instance), but we also have a bar and an outside patio area you can relax in while the bass player reluctantly tries his or her hand at some additional ‘high harmonies’…
GET IT DONE
I like to get things done. We can track how you like to - my preference is to get a tight drum/bass take while the full band play through the monitors. Then I re-track guitars, keys, whatever and finally those vocals and BVs.
Ordinarily you'll have your first round of mixes within 3 working days, 3 rounds of revisions and Bob's your uncle. I'll do you a studio master, but I'll also work with your mastering engineer if you have one.
